Robert Tomaselli

Trustee
Robert Tomaselli

Bob Tomaselli and his husband, Michael Dawson, have been Hopewell Township residents since October 1994.  He retired in early 2025 after a 43-year career in the Pharmaceutical, Biologics, and Medical Device industries. With degrees in Biological Sciences and Bacteriology, his focus largely had been on sterile products process development and manufacturing, microbiological controls, interactions with global regulatory agencies, and training/mentoring.

Bob’s interest and passion for the flora and fauna of this special region began at the very start, upon receiving the publication, “The Woodlands of Hopewell Valley,” prepared for FoHVOS by Douglas W. White, Ph.D.  In addition to being longstanding members and contributors to FoHVOS, Bob and Michael support local and statewide land trust and environmental organizations.

Eight years ago, Mike Van Clef visited Bob and Michael’s property on Crusher Road and opened their eyes to native and invasive plant species and the destructive effects of deer foraging, which energized them to fence about 2 acres of forest, removing invasive bushes, and planting native species – to great success!

Bob is honored to be named to the FoHVOS Board of Trustees.
