Having grown up in Pennington and Hopewell Township, Ryan Kennedy and his family have been members of FoHVOS since its earliest days. He has been a trustee since 2014. Ryan is an attorney in the Lawrenceville office of Stevens & Lee where he represents private and government entities in real estate development, lending, redevelopment and property tax matters. He also regularly advises clients on campaign finance and pay-to-play law and handles government contracting issues for clients who work with the State of New Jersey.

Ryan was elected to the Hopewell Borough Council in 2017, and sits on the Borough’s planning board, economic development and finance committees, and is the town’s representative to the Hopewell Valley Open Space Committee. Ryan is the President of the Board of Directors of the Hopewell Valley YMCA, and is active with the Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton Hospital Foundation and the Princeton Area Community Foundation, where he is on the Professional Advisors Board and a member of the “Next Gen” giving circle. He is a past chair of the Hopewell Valley Chapter of the MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Lawrence Township Economic Development Committee. 

Ryan is an amateur woodworker, and usually has interesting socks or shoelaces.  He and his daughters live in Hopewell Borough.
