Native Plant Garden at Strawberry Hill

The Mercer County Park Commission and Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space, with generous funding from the Church & Dwight Employee Giving Fund, restored the Strawberry Hill Mansion garden in Fall 2012. Located at the Ted Stiles Preserve at Baldpate Mountain, this garden contains nearly 40 native species and almost 800 individual plants. We hope to inspire visitors to incorporate native plants into their landscapes-both to remind ourselves of the beauty of our natural heritage and to support a healthy ecosystem.
