2022 Annual Conference Summary

A special thank you to Duke Farms, conference sponsors and Strike Team donors,

and an impressive slate of speakers and attendees – we had a great time

full of important conversation and networking.

We held our annual conference at Duke Farms on October 5th. We had a stellar group of speakers covering multiple angles related to aquatic invaders including news that New Jersey will finally have a statewide aquatic nuisance species plan, stimulating discussion related to regulating invasive plants, with special attention on climate change related movements of invasive and native species, very informative and quite frightening forest pest & pathogen updates, excellent presentation on the use of eDNA to detect and inform management of newly emerging invasives, and a great Cool Tools and Techniques session covering control and restoration.
